Vocations

Considering God's call in your life can be daunting, but following the Lord is the best! This is where you will find true joy, no matter what it may cost you.

Prayer for Priests

O Jesus, eternal Priest,
keep your priests within the shelter of Your Sacred Heart,
where none may touch them.
Keep unstained their anointed hands,
which daily touch Your Sacred Body.
Keep unsullied their lips,
daily purpled with your Precious Blood.
Keep pure and unearthly their hearts,
sealed with the sublime mark of the priesthood.
Let Your holy love surround them and
shield them from the world’s contagion.
Bless their labors with abundant fruit and
may the souls to whom they minister be their joy and consolation here and in heaven their beautiful and
everlasting crown.

Prayer for Seminarians

Father, thank You for the generosity of our seminarians.  Safeguard them as they prepare for the priesthood.

Keep all evil far from them, so they may become strong Catholic men who are faithful to prayer, diligent in their studies, open to spiritual direction, and docile to all aspects of formation.

Above all, enflame their hearts with love so they will be ardent and gentle shepherds for Your Church.

We make this prayer through the great High Priest, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

St. Charles Borromeo, patron of seminarians, pray for us.

Do not be afraid!

Brothers and sisters, do not be afraid to welcome Christ and accept his power…So often today man does not know what is within him, in the depths of his mind and heart. So often he is uncertain about the meaning of his life on this earth. He is assailed by doubt, a doubt which turns into despair. We ask you therefore, we beg you with humility and trust, let Christ speak to man. He alone has words of life, yes, of eternal life.” -Pope Saint John Paul II
